Oral Dissolving Film.
A new material for your brand.
We design and manufacture ODF — thin films that dissolve in the mouth. For brands creating oral strips from an idea, from an existing formula, or as a portfolio extension.
- Thin film
- a thin, flexible layer
- No water
- taken without a drink
- Custom
- formula, flavour, format
What is ODF?
A supplement in the form
of a thin film.
ODF (Oral Dissolving Film) is a thin, flexible film placed on the tongue or in the mouth, where it disintegrates and dissolves. It is a carrier for ingredients — an alternative to tablets, capsules or sachets.
The same format goes by many names: oral strips, dissolvable strips, mouth dissolving strips, oral thin films, vitamin strips or supplement strips.

Layers
Film-forming matrix, active ingredients, flavour and colour designed as one material.
Transparency
From clear to coloured and matte — the look is part of your brand.
Flexibility
Tough enough in the pack, quick to act in the mouth.

How it’s used
Three moves. Zero water.
- 1
Open
A single strip in a sachet or dispenser — always at hand.
- 2
Place on the tongue
No drink, no swallowing a tablet.
- 3
Done
The film dissolves in the mouth. Timing depends on the formula.
Why brands choose oral strips
A small format.
Plenty of room to innovate.
ODF differentiates a product through experience: how it’s used, portability, packaging and communication.
No water needed
A format that requires no drink and no tablet swallowing.
On-the-go
Flat and light — fits in a wallet, pocket or make-up bag.
A new experience
The format itself sets your brand apart on shelf and on social.
Precise serving
One strip = one serving defined in the formula.
Flavour & mouthfeel
Taste, thickness and mouthfeel are developed with the formula.
Built to scale
From prototype through a pilot batch to full production.
What can we create?
Directions, not a catalogue.
These categories are starting points. Every project is built around your audience, market and goals.
ENERGY
Energy and stimulating products.
FOCUS
Concentration and cognitive function.
CALM
Relaxation and calm.
SLEEP
Evening products.
BEAUTY
Beauty-from-within.
IMMUNITY
Products supporting immunity.
SPORT

CUSTOM
Your individual project.
You don’t pick a product from a catalogue.
We can create it together.
Ingredient choice and communication (including health claims) are always assessed against the regulations of the target market.

Product development
You’re not buying “50,000 units of production”.
You’re buying a process.
Eight stages, one team, one point of accountability — from the first call to a product ready for market launch.
-
01
Brief
We get to know the product concept, market, target audience and business goals.
-
02
Formulation
We develop a formula tailored to the chosen format.
-
03
Prototyping
We create the first product variants.
-
04
Testing
We check product parameters and iterate the formula.
-
05
Pilot
We move to a pilot batch.
-
06
Scale
We scale the solution to production.
-
07
Packaging
The product gets its final format and packaging.
-
08
Launch
You receive a product prepared for market launch — within the agreed project scope.
How ODF is made
From liquid mass to a precision-cut strip.
A typical oral film manufacturing process — every stage affects quality, appearance and stability of the finished product.

- 01
Mass
Preparing the film-forming matrix and ingredients.
- 02
Casting
Forming a thin, even layer.
- 03
Drying
Controlled drying to target parameters.
- 04
Cutting
Slitting the web and cutting single strips.
- 05
Packing
Packing into branded sachets or dispensers.
Oral film vs tablet
Comparing formats.
We compare formats, not effects — those always depend on the formula.
| ODF / oral strip | Tablet / capsule | Powder sachet | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Water to take it | Not needed | Usually needed | Needed (to dissolve) |
| Portability | Very high | High | Medium |
| Shelf differentiation | High | Low | Medium |
| Ingredient load per serving | Limited by format | Medium | High |
| Taste experience | Key | Marginal | Key |

FAQ · ODF
Questions about oral strips.
How is ODF different from a tablet?
It’s a different product format: a thin film placed in the mouth instead of a tablet or capsule, taken without water. Specific properties depend on the formulation.
Can any ingredient go into a strip?
No. Limitations include dose, solubility, taste, stability and matrix properties — which is why every project starts with a feasibility assessment.
Do you make private label oral strips?
Yes. We run B2B projects under the client’s brand — from formulation and samples to production and packing.
I don’t have a formula. Is that a problem?
Not at all. You can come with just an idea — we’ll develop the formula during R&D.
What is the minimum run?
It depends on format, formula and packaging. We discuss volume after the brief — you can give an estimate in the form.
Where is production?
VitaBoost’s production site is in Poznań, Poland (EU).
Can you support projects for international markets?
Yes. Composition, labelling and communication requirements are assessed for each target market.
